Former First Lady and current Secretary of State Hillary Clinton has announced that she is going to resign after rumors of her doing so have been circulating for some time.  Mrs. Clinton is the wife of former president Bill Clinton and a former Senator.  In 2008, she ran for president but dropped out and made way for Obama.  She been on President Obama’s cabinet since he was inaugurated in 2008 and her time has been marked by the recession and the Benghazi attacks.  Mrs. Clinton has recently taken full responsibility for the Benghazi attacks which left 4 people dead.  Her resignation will allow President Obama time to find a new Secretary of State which he will appoint after his inauguration in January of 2013.  It is rumored that her reason for resigning is that she may run for president again in 2016, but this has not been confirmed.
